STAGE IV

The Wedding

Security Level

II

Record:

This dream has a relatively complete storyline, so it will be recorded in Wanderer's first-person perspective in this system.

Danger:

This space has certain dangers, one of which is the crocodiles in the pool. They are waiting for everyone who falls into them to attack at any time. However, what the system considers more dangerous than the crocodiles is the reason Wanderer was placed in the room. This indicates that there is likely to be another enemy in the space. Although no traces of other people living in the area were found after that, Wanderer has always insisted that she saw someone. If another enemy is found, the system considers them to be extremely dangerous.

Opening my eyes, I found myself lying on a bed. For a moment, I thought I was still in bed at home, but when I sat up, I found that it was an old steel frame bed. The mattress has lost most of its elasticity, and a thin sheet serves as a quilt. There were scattered candles placed around the bed. Judging from the burning condition, they should have been burning for a while.

Candles were the only source of light in the room. Except for the bed, everything around it was made of wooden boards and was very simple. From the room, I saw a huge floor-to-ceiling window in front of me, but the glass was no longer there, leaving only the wooden window frame. The sky outside can be seen from here.

Walking to the window, the sunlight outside shone on me. Only then did I realize that I was wearing the bride's white dress. I saw the pool below the window. It was turbid in color and immeasurable in depth. In order to escape from here, I decided to jump out of the window. The plan was to fall into the puddle below and minimize the damage.

But I regretted it from the moment I fell into the pool: there were several crocodiles living in such a bottomless pool. They hide in pools of water, and when someone falls into them they will quickly move towards them and attack. In order to avoid the crocodiles, I could only quickly find the nearest landing point and climb up regardless.

After I completely climbed ashore, I realized that I was back next to the village I escaped from in the first place. I understand that there is nowhere for me to escape.
